Excursions and tours

The Society organises a number of Summer Excursions to sites of interest within the region. In most years we also run a four-day residential excursion. In recent years we have visited sites in Lincolnshire and Wales.

Four-day Excursion 2020

This year's four-day excursion will be from 18th to 21st September to Kent, staying near Rochester. The leader will be one of our trustees, Dr Andrew Rogerson, who led the very successful trip to Sussex last year. The booking form is now available, please click on the menu to the right.

Summer Excursions

In 2020, our excursions will include a visit to Hindringham and a tour of Bury St Edmunds Abbey. Council would welcome your suggestions for summer excursions in this and coming years – where would you like to visit that is normally closed to the public or otherwise ‘out of bounds’? Would you like the society to run day schools or other meetings in the summer? Send your ideas to our Excursions Secretary, Margaret Gooch (excursions@nnas.info).
